People today aren’t aware of climate change everywhere from pollution, waste, and deforestation. But some are and yet they still choose to be heedless.
You don’t know what you have until it’s gone. Which it’s only a matter of time before people do see what is extinct. It doesn’t happen overnight but it will soon be distinct.
The world is so far to clear oceans with no fish and coral reefs being bleached. That isn’t even the beginning. Rivers have dried out from the increased frequency of heat waves. Causing droughts.
Ocean acidification affects marine life as well as coral bleaching leaving fishes unsafe to live. These aren’t the only ecosystems that fell victim to these issues.
Even the weather being one of them. Accelerating global disruptions, causing more intense and destructive weather incidents. Like hurricanes, floods, snowstorms, and even rising sea levels.
A multitude of biodiversity habitats affected, humans included. Many species are already endangered. The following, polar bears, Arctic seals, penguins, and coral reefs, alongside marine mammals like the North Atlantic right whale.
Deforestation heightens the effects of climate changes on the world. Deforestation releases stored carbon dioxide into the atmosphere. This carbon dioxide reduces the planet’s capacity to absorb future emissions.
Trees are needed for evaporation. And plants in general, form clouds and generate rain. Their removal causes drier conditions.
Climate change may affect what we see, but also human health. It intensifies environmental hazards, leading to increased heat related illness, respiratory issues from poor air quality, and the spread of infectious diseases.
Climate change causes disruptions to food and water supplies, along with forced displacement, creating long term health, nutritional, and socioeconomic vulnerabilities.
High temperatures leave heatwaves, causing dehydration, heat exhaustion, and fatal heatstroke. The poor air quality leads to asthma attacks and COPD, and cardiovascular issues.
