The Philadelphia Eagles won the Super Bowl by beating, Kansas City Chiefs 40-22. The game was on February 9,2025, at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans. Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts played very well and won the MVP award.
“Jalen Hurts was amazing tonight. He played smart and strong.” Said Eagles coach Nick Sirianni in an interview.
The Eagles started the game strong and scored 24 points in the first half.
Hurts threw two touchdown passes and ran for another touchdown. The Chiefs had trouble because of mistakes, and Eagles player Cooper DeJean caught an interception and scored.
“We made too many mistakes. You can’t win a game like this with so many errors,” said Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes after the game.
The Chiefs tried to come back in the second half, but the Eagles’ defense stopped them. The Eagles intercepted the ball again and stopped the Chiefs on an important fourth-down play. With this win, the Eagles showed they are one of the best teams in the NFL.

The halftime show featured rapper Kendrick Lamar. He was the first solo rapper to perform at a Super Bowl halftime show. His performance had deep messages about American society. He also sang a new song called
“Not Like Us”, which some people think is about rapper Drake. Special guests included singer SZA and tennis star Serena Williams.
