Although we may only see a little snow here in Ewing, the wind gusts could put on the power!

Winter storm approaches NJ after a predominantly warm winter and 12 other states have already been affected by sudden winter storms.

In NJ the 2022-2023 winter was predominantly warm compared to other years. It was actually the warmest winter we’ve had since 2001. With some warm days and other cold days, we can agree that there were warmer days then there were cooler days.

With one of our warmest winters  coming to an end, it is hard to believe that we could potentially get hit by a winter storm including over six inches of snow but news reporters have proven that New Jersey is right in the middle of either being hit or just going straight into spring.

According to northjersey.com Governor Murphy declared a state of emergency for the “five of the state’s most northern counties” who are expecting a messy nor’easter.

Just recently over 12 states surrounding NJ were affected by around 4 inches of snow. And other states including California were hit with winter storms so its not surprising that NJ could be next.

We have had some warnings, light snow overnight followed my rain and even some hail. But that does not ensure that we will or will not have a winter storm after all, we have had a great mix of weather recently so it is best that we all enjoy our sunny or rainy warmer days but always be prepared for any winter storms this March.
