If you don´t know who Pharrell Williams is,he has helped produce and make some of the most popular songs. He is also the person who has worked on the soundtrack for every single Despicable Me movie to this date. He sang the song ¨Happy¨ which was first featured in the Despicable 2 movie and sang the song ¨Get Lucky¨ featuring Daft Punk.
Some of the songs he helped produce were “Alright” by Kendrick Lamar, “Drop it like its hot” by Snoop Dog, “Hella Good” by Gwen Stefanie, “Like I love you” by Justin Timberlake and “What is it” by Busta Rhymes. As it also features his old group the Neptune’s. Now you may be wondering the reason why out of all things he chooses a Lego format. The reason is because that’s how he sees the world as a quote in a interview Williams says “what if the world was a set, and we have to build it together piece by piece”.
He also said Legos were very influential throughout his life as he never really built what was on the box but instead built is own abstract ideas. It also describes how he was treated throughout his life as many thought he was weird for doing things his own way but that was his motivation as he was able to prove to the world what his potential was.
Thanks to his work he was able to unite certain parts of the world with his music as well being able to help the music industry for an extremely long time. My friend Amel class of 2027 went to see it a theaters and said “It was a really great movie and is a must watch”. Personally, I am excited to see this soon as it is currently out as many other people said it was amazing and the music made it a magical experience. As currently the movie is doing well in the box office and is heard to be a must watch.
